Renovation work has now started on the garages at the 'roundabout end' of Higgins Lane. A local resident had contacted me about the slowly deteriorating state of these garages. You know how it goes - something starts to look shabby, then it gets vandalised, graffiti, and before you know it, it starts to bring the area down.
I contacted the Council about it and I didn't rest until we saw some proper delivery on the ground. This is a great example of how a single resident's enquiry can produce results.
