It's Official!

Last night, I came home to find a letter from the Council telling me that my nomination for the Ladywood Ward election on 3rd May is valid. Bring it on!

Just like last year, I'm the only candidate who lives anywhere in Ladywood Ward!

Best of luck! I'm sure you'll do really well. The brilliant photos in your latest leaflet are bound to make all the difference! x

It'll definitely be the pics that swing it. Good luck mate. You deserve to win this and give the residents on Ladywood decent representation on the council.

Er nice picture T-bone shame that you have to pay the royal mail to deliver your leaflets how much does it cost (£38:00 per thousand) its a disgrace why dont you want to get your hands dirty or perhaps you have a hidden agenda.

er gareth, you have not told us the full story as to why you left london(Lambeth)as a cllr and decided to return to come to Birmingham? Or maybe the are some skeletons that you dont want to reveal.

Remember this mate "principles do not mainly influence even the principled; we talk on principle, we act on interest"

How can you take credit for all the hard work of the three councillors(labour) when you dont even have a track record of promoting the concerns of what take place in all of Ladywood let alone City Centre or the Jewellery Quarters. So I will say to you get you hands dirty & stop trying to self promote yourself as the voters see through you.

Being smeared by someone who deosn't even have the guts to tell you their name is pretty distasteful. Does one ignore the rantings of lunatics or respond? On balance, I've decided to respond, mainly because the answer is so un-prosaic:

I moved to Birmingham because I got a new job.

Garath,

You have seen me I saw you when you where in Lambeth so once again nice try to be nasty!

But then that has always been your problem when someone ask you a straight forward question Mr. Nasty.

So next be aware that force of of the other kind is watching.

Best of luck Pete- I am sure you will be able to bring back a Conservative representation back to Ladywood.

Anytime you need a hand let me know and if I am not at work, I'll lend a hand.

I agree with you sentiments regarding other candidates too- Barbara and Len are sure to win. I have been on the campaign trail with both recently and the feeling on the doorstep is good.

Here's to success throughout the whole of the City come May!

All the best. MIKE O'ROURKE

Well then heroic Mr Anonymous, if you *know* me, you don't need to ask impertinent questions do you?

I await contact with "the force" with interest. On first encounters though, The Force's inability to spell or deploy elementary grammar is not encouraging. The Force should have paid more attention at school.

Best of luck Peter, let us know if we can be of any help, unfortunately we are not back to Uni until the 30th!
