Last night, City Branch went to see The Blair B'Stard Project New Statesman Tour with Rik Mayall at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham city centre. Very funny! Rik Mayall made the show - can't imagine anyone else playing B'Stard though.
The stage production has B'Stard defecting to New Labour, but otherwise his character is as amoral, devious, dishonest and cruel as ever. Some Bottomesque slapstick added to the humour.
